The creator sighed as  she looked happy at her domain

Merith hesitated, before gingerly picking up one of the grubs with his index and thumb. He grimaced slightly at the wriggling creature but eventually placed iron his mouth and began to slowly chew...

It would have a sweet flavor and a gooey rexture, then that when the firey gates of hell exploded in his mouth as the spiceyness kicked in.

Merith nearly choked at the spices but surprisingly enjoyed it. He swallowed it and nodded, "Hey, that's not bad."

"I would love to come." Merith said, smiling as he began to eat. He would love to meet this woman's other creations. Then maybe... Maybe he could find Heny again. And tell her everything. How she won't have to follow the other Creator's direction anymore, so she could do what she wished, so they could find a way to rid the Family together, with...

With the kid. there was a pang of grief as he thought of Syren, his happy thoughts dampening for a bit as he ate in silence.

Merith said nothing. He only nodded as he ate silently.

"Your vow...you broke it in you rage I'm assuming?"

Merith flinched and set down the food in his hands and nodded again. He ran a hand through his hair and looked away from her in his shame. It obviously ate at him but he didn't know what else to do...

She took a deep breath, "I cant bring back the lives lost, but I can repair the planet and make it a home for future races."

He looked back at her with weary eyes, he thought on this, silent. Finally his looked to the floor again, softly saying, "If that's the best I can offer to the Galaxy as an apology, then so be it..."

She nodded, "Now that you are fix there should be no fear of that repeating."

The man only gave a watery smile and a word of gratitude before beginning to recluse into his sorrows again, wishing that he could take it all back... All of it, if not for him or for the sake of those lives lost, but for the inhabitants of Vestia. How many of them hated him now? Maybe feared him? How many would turn away when he game closer or even insult or attack him? He noticed his vision was blurring and quickly squeezed his eyes shut to force back the tears.

The female let him be for now, sensing he needed time alone.

Merith turned to look at the water, the thoughts still swimming around in his head. He would need to get back to Heny as soon as possible, but he needed to help whoever these people were first. He wanted to tell Heny everything, to reassure her... And maybe find a way to get and the others to forgive him, though he doubted if that was even possible.

The creator would be contacting one of her vessels, informing them of her return.
