Ethan nodded. "I guess that makes sense. Do they execute the ruler, or do they have to keep them alive?" He probably had too many questions.

"Oh, I know that feeling," Vestia said sympathetically. She watched Amari snooze. Aww.

"Okay?" Skye said, her tone wary and curious. "What do you want from me?"

"We just want your okay on letting him stay here. You're part of this crew, so we want you to be informed of the situation, and to have the opportunity to raise any concerns you may have," Asher said. "After all, it is an unusual situation."

Skye sighed then shrugged. "I don't care, as long as we get Moone back sometime soon and we aren't put in danger."

Asher nodded. "We'll do our best to get Moone back, and keep everyone safe. Thank you, Skye."

Skye nodded and wandered off, picking at her feathers again.

Starr frowned, watching her go. "We should do something for her, distract her somehow." She said quietly.

"Yes, she needs us to spend more time with her," Asher said, sighing. "I've been neglecting everyone lately, and so many of them are struggling. They need help."

"As have I" Starr said, dipping her head then shaking it. "Hopefully we can get back the babies soon."

Asher reached out to pat her arm. "We'll try to help them, and each other. It'll be okay, Starr." He looked uncertain, "Who should we see next?"

Esk went to go take Dawn some food, to stop her trying to get around herself. Also he kinda wanted to ask her something.

Swarm, being nosy and curious, headed to where the strange new people were being housed to get a look at them. The fragment of themselves that had stayed had told them what they could, but now they were more in number they couldn't help but want to know more.
Especially given Asher and Starr seemed to be determined to let one of them stay. Hmm, interesting.

Ivor slept while Silence prowled the ship, exploring warily. She hadn't been told to stay in her room so she wasn't going to.

Ethan was in the library at his desk, reading about the history of the United States. He looked up and smiled oddly at Mourn. "What brings you in here? You don't read that much."

James was in the holodeck, galloping his favorite holographic horse around.

Ellie was wandering listlessly, waiting for Matt to reappear. She hoped he was okay.

Mourn shrugged. "no read books you got." He snickered and climbed into the desk, dangling his feet and tail. "I write new program." He nodded.

Ethan raised an eyebrow as Mourn hopped up on the desk. "You're not supposed to be up there, you know," he grumbled. "What program did you write?" He couldn't help it, he was curious.

Mourn waved a hand dismissively at the complaint, swinging his feet. "Fix robot memory. Make so can delete memories when sleep yes? So no more cluttering up data bank with boring routine. More space for interesting stuff! " he looked pleased with himself.

Starr looked to Asher and touched his hand on her arm "I was avoiding everyone I could for a little while" She said then shrugged "Maybe Shane, or one of the others"

Dawn was being good, as much as she could. She was watching a movie on her tablet.

Sawna had returned to her cafe, waiting to see who would come and when.

Rigel walked into the cafe, getting a drink then taking a seat at a table to relax.

"You managed to make it automatic? That is pretty good," Ethan said. "Have you tested it on anyone?"

Esk knocked, holding a tray with his other hand. "Food." He called flatly.

Mourn nodded. "I test on one of robots, it work, with some tweaking. I make work. I good fixing." He grinned.

Amity smiled to Rigel. "Welcome home Rigel."

Asher smiled sadly up at Starr. "I'm glad you're starting to feel better. This can't have been easy." He considered, "Yes, maybe Rigel or Ellie next."

"Can they delete their own memories?" Ethan asked. "I mean, I don't want to right now, but I'm curious."

"It's good to be home" Rigel said with a smile at the robot. "How were things here?"

Starr smiled and nodded, looking around before asking where the two were.

Vestia told them where the two were.

Ellie was closer, so Asher led Starr that way.

Ellie was pacing and frowning in a random hall when they arrived.

"Hello Ellie" Starr said when they saw the young woman. "How are you?"

"In what respect?" Amity asked. "The crew are in various states, there have however been no great catastrophes or events of note except the collection of two new passengers, of which I know.. nothing." Hmm, he'd not asked. And now he thought he should know more. "Some of the crew are not happy about their presence, though I don't quite understand why."

Mourn nodded. "That cause problem, no have administrator privilages, I fix that. Now can delete memories by choice. " He tilted his head at Ethan. "you want delete memories?"

Esk eased the door open and came into the room, setting the tray down.

"Don't get used to this, as soon as you can walk again, you're getting your own food." He told Dawn.

Rigel chuckled softly at that "Well, that's a pretty good overview, the others said something about passengers, might be good to learn more."

"It is one names Marcus and his son he bought out of slavery. They seem like good people" Sawna said

Dawn smiled and sat up, moving a pillow so she could rest against it. "Thank you for helping me." She said, she was glad of it, even as she hoped to get better quickly.

Ellie looked up from her pacing. "Hey guys. I'm okay. What's up?"

"We wanted to talk to you about a new passenger," Asher said.

"You mean Marcus? He can fuck off out the airlock, it'd serve him right."

"We're not talking about him, we're talking about his son," Asher said gently.

"What about him?" Ellie asked suspiciously, looking to Starr.

"I thought about deleting my memories, my memories suck," Ethan said. "But I just don't know what sort of person if be without them. Was the android you tested it on okay?"

Esk shrugged, grunting vaguely. "Someone's gotta. "

Mourn nodded. "He fine, he fine. I go see tomorrow, see how sleep work, make sure all working fine." he shrugged. "I forget lots, I think better. No want remember, if remember then... it be bad. I know because when think about remember, get... scared and angry." He shuddered. "Some memory better gone."
