Satare Empire - Melanoc Lunar Colony

One of the central lunar colonies orbiting the vast, water world Satare.

A farming colony, what isn't walled farmland is dense forest and woodland.
There are 12 moons in the sky, though not all are visible at any one time and the enormous blue ball that is the planet.

Don't go out after dark, there are monsters in the woods.

Jarral looked bewildered. "What will I do with it?" He asked.

Danica frowned a little and shrugged "It's just like a souvenir, or something to remember this place by."

In time the smell pf stew filled the house and thaila searched for some bowls, "Kids, food done." She called ouf, her tone clear that it would be dangerous for them to attempt to skip the meal.

Jarral frowned. "She sounds angry..." he rose from his position on the floor, looking down at the mess he'd made. He'd have to go back to sorting later. He didn't really know what to say about the rock, or the idea of a souvenir. It was a weird concept to him.

Bianca was still hanging out near Thalia's feet, hoping for handouts. She'd mostly avoided getting in the way, thankfully.

Danica nodded and got up to go downstairs with him.

Kerr and Vela went to wash up and come to the table so they could eat together.

Thaila would each serve them a bowl, and a small one for bianca. Absently the pregnant keeper took a seat making sure all the children came to eat.

Jarral nodded his head to Thalia in polite greeting as he sat down at the table.

The three baby dragons sat to eat their bowls of stew happily alongside Moone and the others.

Bianca joined the others at the table, or rather on the table, because she couldn't sit at a chair. She set to work on her bowl right away, apparently she really liked this stew.

Thaila would eat, but it was in a numb fashion like she was forcing herself to do so. The keeper rarely slept having stayed up fretting and it was taking a toll on her.

"Thank you for making the stew" Moone said when she was done.

Jarral ate akwardly, he didn't really understand utensils so he used his hands for everything.

Bianca finished her tiny bowl, then started washing herself, grooming and licking her fur. "Yes, thank you," she said to Thalia between licks.

Jarral remained quiet, he didn't talk much during meals. He and the groundskeeper were both silent, focusing on their food until the bowls were clean.

Jarral licked his fingers clean.

Thaila would thank Moone and collect the bowls, "Remember no wandering after dark, I may not have my full abilities but if you do wander I will hunt you down." She said firmly.

Jarral frowned a little but he nodded. "yes miss." He spoke, rising to help clear the table.

Moone nodded and got up to gather the dragon babies so they could get their baths

She would put the dishes in the sink, taking a seat for now as her ankles were killing her.

Jarral brought dishes in and then wordlessly returned to the attic to continue sorting things.

Thaila sighed, rubbing her forehead tiredly. Everything felt out of place, all she wanted was to be back on Vestia with Matt, instead she was trapped here waiting for web to come back. If he comes back that is.

Time passed, nobody came to get them.

Jarral had made pretty good progress on the attic boxes, finding several useful things in the process. More pots, more pans, good knives, even a few more old books in Satare runes which he took an interest in.
Languages absolutely fascinated him, and he devoted a lot of his spare time to staring at the runes and deciphering them.

He worried about his Lord, and his home. Was he ever going to get home?

Moone didn't like how long this was taking. Even with the kids able to talk to Starr and let them know they were alright, it wasn't the same as seeing their family and friends. "Can't we just take the shuttle and go?" She asked Thalia quietly.

Jarral went to speak to Danika, because he found her the easiest to speak to.

Danika was with her sister, though Kerr had gone outside. She was trying to talk Vela into picking a form to shift into. She turned and waved to Jarral when he came down the stairs.

Jarral tilted his head, then nodded to Danika and Vela. He had no real understanding of this form shifting thing, so wasn't really going to be much help in this discussion. "I have finished sorting the boxes." He told them.

Danika smiled and looked back to Vela. Vela shook her head and stood too. "Not yet." Vela said, heading to the kitchen to get a snack. Danika sighed and watched her go then shifted, going over to Jarral. "You did? That's good."
