Timeline for Monk so he can keep crap straight in his head

Imperium calendar: Current year: 1824 after time skip. (2790 = 1815 ish)


1771 - Olin born

1779 - Jess born

1785 - Web and Matt born

mid/late 1786 - Kay born. Incidentally, the year Kay is born compulsory conscription comes into effect for ALL Imperium citizens, Hexenfolke are no longer exempt.

1787 - Khalbin becomes Ishvara after the death of his older brother. The family moves to the Kevali home world. It's not good for Ilhana or the kids.

1788 - Ilhana takes the children and returns to the Imperium without her husband. He visits as often as he can.

1790 - Olin meets Hytar. Obtains amulet for Kay.

1791 - Esk born

late 1791 - Khalbin and Ilhana are murdered, Web, Matt, Jess taken in by Olin

1794 - Luka is born Esk's power starts to manifest.

1796 - Incident with guest and Esk happens. Soon after Jess finds a military recruiter on a trip to the nearest town and signs up. Leaves home for military school.

1798 (2773) - Olin dies, Kay infected. Jess returns home to take care of her brothers. Luka's mother dies.

1800 - Kay is conscripted. Web and Matt go to the munitions factory. Kay lasts 6 months before he's court marshaled.

1802 - Kay starts medical training on a foundling colony. The twins return home from the factory.  Web decides to return to Kevali. Matt goes with him and is banished soon after.

1803/4 Gier dies and Kay gets on a transport out of there before quarantine can be engaged.

1804 - Kay starts work at Frontier station.

1805 - Esk goes to military school. War with the Minotaurs breaks out.

1807 - Esk leaves military school and goes into the infantry. Jess gets married.

1808 - Esk is court marshaled and serves 9 months prison time. Luka starts military school. Jarral born? (I think)

1809 - Having been traveling for a while,Matt invites Kay to join him. They both leave the empire. Esk gets out of prison and goes to stay with Jess and her husband.

Late 1809 - there's an "incident" with the horses and Esk is kicked out, he leaves the colony and heads to Iconi for a few months, meets his grandparents. Travels around the empire taking up odd jobs including hunting infected.

1810 - Esk leaves the empire. Soon after he takes up a job as a bounty hunter. Meets his father for the first time. Luka graduates, joins fleet.

Late 1811 - Luka's ship crash lands on some backwater planet, her co-pilot is killed on impact but she escapes with only a broken arm. She begins to travel to try to find her way home.

1812 -Kay and Mattjoin Vestia's crew in New Paris.

late 1812 - Luka joins the SD crew. Esk attempts to take a bounty from the Silver Devil. It doesn't go so well. Slavers, blah blah blah. Funtimes.

Which brings us up to current timeline yes?

Kay's dead ex: Gierhart Heinz - A surgical student

Dr Yessalia Webster - A middle aged female with striking ebony scaled skin and vividly amber coloured eyes. - Delivered all of Ilhana's kids. Jess is named after her, kinda. So is Web.

Professor Jonathan Cobin - Dark skinned terran - One of Ilhana's coworkers, another xenobiologist. - Web and Matt both carry one of his names.

Tias (Mattias) - Chief of security on the station Ilhana worked on. Good friend of Khalbin and Ilhana. Matt's named after him.

Top secret - Project Airedale - (This appears to be some sort of experimental military project)

The following medical notes are included, with diagrams of the procedures and the findings.

2774 - Initial testing begins. Subject injected with growth hormones and psych assessments begin. Neurological augmentation - minor tweaks to boost reflexes and intellect. - Success. Subject responding well.
2775 - Neurological implant - coclear implants to increase range of hearing. - Failure. Trouble during surgery resulted in bleeding on the brain. Two subsequent attempts are also listed as failures citing damaged tissue and severed neural networks as the reasons. Test aborted.
2776 - Increase in growth hormones. Physical training and psychological assessments continue.
2778 - Subject considered almost fully matured, medication dosage increased throwing subject through premature puberty. Immune suppressants begun.
2779 - Neurological implants completed, 60% of brain now replaced by robotic parts in a series of surgeries over the past two years. Tests begin on optical implants. - Success.
2780 - Amputation of right arm, replacement with cyber prosthetic. - Success, subject presents decent movement in cyber limb, fine dexterity is limited by grip strength massively increased. Anchoring to organic tissue deemed insufficient to keep limb from dislocating or tearing from socket, suggestions for improvement included in diagrams.
2781-1782 - A series of minor tweaks and adjustments to his cybernetics, inclusion of aasimov chip after aggressive tendencies realized.

There are also notes on other subjects from the same tests, almost all of them are listed as "deceased", died of infection, sepsis, on the operating table. There were at least a dozen, there appear to only be three who survived to this point.

There are plans for further tests, talk of another facility and a few diagrams of planned procedures including improvements to that cyber arm.

There's various brainscans, photographs and drawings.

Anecdotes I need to keep track of:

- Matt talked to goats as a kid
- Kay pushed Matt in the river once, and that's how they learned he could breathe underwater.
- Web set fire to the barn once.
- That time Matt lost Kay in a game of poker
- That time Matt slept with a mantis woman
- The acid dragon incident.
- Web and Kay betting over how long it'd take before the girl Matt was chatting to either hit him or threw her drink in his face.
- The time Matt owed the wrong people money
- All the bail outs.
- Kay hits/kicks generators when they stop working. Don't let Kay near the generator.
- The time Esk (then only 4 or 5) killed a man to stop him hurting Jess
- Jess leaving to go to military school at the age of 16-17
- The horses.
- Olin with a broom
- Olin's glare
- Olin just generally being scary as hell
- Kay, Web and Matt didn't see motor vehicles till their teens.
- Matt pissing off the elders
- Matt's time in the munitions factory (it sucked, it sucked so much)
- Kay's court marshal and lies
- Esk punched a superior officer for being racist.
- Esk learned to repair mining drills because it meant he didn't have to dig
- Kay loves terrible Satare pulp fiction, Gier got him into it. A few of his books have hand written notes in the front cover.
- Kay once walked in on his siblings discussing whether he should live or die
- When in the grips of fever Kay tried to throttle Matt.
- The fire/Matt's parent's death
- The time Matt stole a piano.

10 years later:

Late July 2790 - Vestia disappears.

August 2790 - Web returns to the waypoint inn and gives the news to those there. Jarral returns to the underground city.

Jan 2791 - Web meets Eva

2791 - Jarral begins his apprentiship as a Scribe.

2792 - Thalia leaves Unity station.

2795 - Jarral completes his apprentiship and becomes a fully fledged Scribe. Eva is appointed as Star Marshall and begins investigation into the rift.

late 2796 - Web falls sick. Jarral (now around 13) is outcast and goes to live with Eva.

2797 - Jarral is kidnapped, tortured and eventually possessed by a demon. Eva drowns him to free his mind. He's given a bodyguard and attempts are made to teach him to defend himself.

2798 - Jarral encounters the Deus Umbra and becomes his emmisary

Aug 2800 - Vestia reappears.
