Upon Celestial Tiger: Chapter Two

Vestia was due to reach the Beach Planet pretty soon, so the Celestial Tiger headed there first. The meeting with Hytar would happen a few days later at a space station.

The Tiger would land at the sunny spaceport, with a glorious view of ocean, sand, and palm trees all around. It looked like paradise.

Tala was happy to be back. She'd liked the place last time she was here, and was looking forward to soaking up more sun. "It seems our friends have not arrived yet. With hope, we shall see them soon."

Ethan was excited to get off this tiny, cramped ship. Yay.

"No, but it's better than lying to them and them finding out later." Starr said quietly.

Luka looked pained but she nodded. What else could they do? It was Starr's decision.

"Would you like to be present or stay here till it's over?" she asked carefully.

Starr shook her head and closed her eyes. "I probably should tell them myself." She didn't want to though.

"If you don't want to, you shouldn't," Ethan said. "You don't need to go through that conversation, it's probably going to suck. We can explain it on your behalf, which might suck less."

Starr looked at Ethan then Luka and back again before nodding "Alright."

"Get some rest, read a book if you can't. Anything to take your mind off this," Ethan said to her with some sympathy. "We'll handle this."

Tala nodded. "We shall come back for you once the news has been distributed."

Starr nodded and sighed, pulling the blanket up to cover herself then reaching for the latest book she was on to lose herself in it for a while.

Luka looked worried. "Should someone stay here with her?" She spoke softly.

"I will stay with her Sawna said gently. She didn't mind not going out in the sun even if it meant taking longer to see the others.

Luka nodded, glancing back at Starr sadly. This was gonna suck, a lot. She felt that anger bubbling up again and clenched her fists. The keepers would get what was coming to them, she just had to keep reminding herself of that.

"Thank you Sawna," Tala said. She looked to the others, "Come, let us go and reunite with our companions." She headed for the airlock.

Ethan followed, frowning. Ugh. Poor Starr.

Luka nodded and followed Tala, glancing back at Sawna and Starr for just a moment.

Swarm hovered for a moment, then followed Tala. A few of them stayed behind to keep Sawna and Starr company, and because they were nosy.

Rigel and Shane would go with them, though Helen stayed behind with Starr and Sawna, closing the hatch for safety while everyone else was gone.
