First topic message reminder :

Dawn chuckled and shook her head a little "I don't need a party." She said softly, chuckling.

~~~
Skye looked to the door then came over to open it "Mourn? What's up?"
"And for Terrans and androids, it's basically unheard of. The universe never fails to amaze with its coolness," james said.
Ellie grew the plants until they flowered, and then stopped, lying down on the ground and panting a bit. "There you go. The bees will love it."
Dawn nodded and smiled "Yes, they will, thank you for your help. This is becoming quite the community effort here." She said with a smile then looked to Vestia's cameras again "Vestia, do you think you can have a bot bring some refreshments and snacks? I think it's time for a break."
"No problem! This was fun," Ellie said happily.
James nodded. "Gotta love a group project. This farm is so good for us."
"I'll send some refreshments over," Vestia said cheerfully.
Dawn smiled and laid back on the grass, relaxing now that most of the work was done. "Thanks Vestia." She said then looked to James and nodded "That's another reason I started it, having living creatures to care for is good for most people."
Ellie wiggled her bare toes in the grass. "It's like being outdoors, but minus the mosquitoes."
James smiled and sat down, cross-legged. "Yeah, animals make people happy," he agreed with Dawn.
Vestia's bots showed up with some food, while Ellie happily ate a lot of.
The little group would sit and eat together for a while. It was a good way to spend the last day at the Guild.
(Do we wanna skip to tomorrow and LIFTOFF?)
TIMESKIP - APRIL 22 - LEAVING THE GUILD
The day of departure arrived. In the Guild capital, it was bright and sunny. Out on the asteroid belt, it was dark and starry. But either way, it was exciting, and probably most of Vestia's crew were thrilled to finally be leaving.
The oaths had been taken the night before by the crew, with the help of a peacekeeper who had helped some of the crew to phonetically pronounce the oath, while those who couldn't manage it were allowed to write it on paper instead. Now everyone was cleared to leave. Yay.
~~
James almost refused to take the oath, but finally his desire to leave the Guild outweighed his desire to not subject himself to binding magical promises, and he said the oath.
This morning he was singing a rather raunchy pop song, and suggestively wiggling his hips as he cleaned the med bay. He was in a pretty good mood about leaving.
~~
Asher took his oath without argument, he knew they had to leave, so he might as well play by the rules. He didn't like having anything controlling his actions, but he wanted to see his daughter and siblings again, and he had to free his people, so it was necessary.
This morning he made a few last minute shopping trips around the city before heading back to Vestia.
~~
Ellie had taken her oath cheerfully. She was so happy to get back to Terran space soon!
~~
Orel had deliberated all night about what to do. He went to take the oath before he had fully decided, but his antimagic didn't let him take the oath, oops. He finally made up his mind in the early morning.
Kay wasn't happy about this oath, and endured a long rant from Matt about it before it happened.
Matt hated the idea of magically being forced to do something, what about free will? what about autonomy?
Kay had tried in vain to convince Matt he had to go through with it.
In the end Esk had simply glared at him and told him to get over himself and either stay here forever or suck it up and just say the damn words.
That seemed to work. But mostly because when Esk glared he looked exactly like his mother and it was TERRIFYING.
So all three brothers had managed the oaths. Kay wrote his, the other two recited carefully. None of them were happy about it, but it was necessary.
--
Armin took the oath without question, he respected the Guild's ways and was grateful they were allowing him to keep his new tank. As far as he was concerned, this was the least they could do for the Guild's hospitality.
He gifted the medical teams a few more bandages before departing.
---
Hewitt rolled his eyes and recited the stupid oath. He thought it was idiotic and didn't really believe it could stop people talking if they wanted to.
Even Amity recited the oath carefully.
---
Mourn it was decided would be safer to write the oath, he couldn't really grasp the careful pronunciation of these unfamiliar words.
He'd struggled a bit, but he got through it.
Dawn spoke the oath without argument. She wasn't particularly happy or mad about it, to her it was just one of the rules.
~
Skye couldn't take the oath, yay for no magic working on her. She promised not to talk about the guild, but that was all she could do.
Orel walked slowly to Vestia. He looked unhappy. "Can you tell Skye I'm here?" he asked the ship.
Vestia told Skye Orel was here.
Esk lingered in the doorway of the medlab, rolling his eyes at James' dancing. "You're way too happy with that mop."
"Ah," James nodded sagely and mopped the floor a little, more for show than to actually clean the floor. "If I were you, I'd be looking forward to getting away from the necromancers and the horses."
Esk's smirk faltered, yeah thanks for that memory. "At least they don't seem to leave the city." He muttered. "you missed a spot." He pointed.
James looked apologetic. Right, probably some bad memories. "Yeah, nice of them to stay away from us." He looked at the spot Esk was pointing to, and rolled his eyes dramatically. "I was getting to that, man."
"I should, shouldn't I?" James looked pleased by the idea. He liked having spending money. He lowered his voice, "What if Vestia refuses and just makes her bots work harder instead of raising my pay?"
James nodded. "Good point. Besides, Vestia knows we can't have machines stealing jobs from real people!" He laughed at his joke. "Poor Matt though, I miss him and his robot-whisperer ways. He's a better janitor than I'll ever be, man."
