Space Station named Defiant

The two shuttles both grabbed the rogue shuttle in their tractor beams and together towed her back to the shuttle bay where more security officers were ready and waiting to question her.

Asher watched Vanessa thoughtfully, and got the distinct impression that Quinn was going to be in a lot of trouble, and not just with station security either. He made his way toward the area where Quinn was being questioned, pushing his way past a few other onlookers to see what was going to happen.

Quinn reluctantly floated out of the shuttle to see the onlookers and security, her ears flattening on her head with an apologetic grin as the fox floated there. Sara was still in the cup holder, incredibly dazed and looking green in her effort not to hurl.

Vanessa was stone faced as Merith whistled nervously...

The security chief himself had come down to investigate the commotion, standing head and shoulders above his staff as he strode toward Quinn.

"What's the meaning of all this?" He asked grumpily. "Docking procedures exist for a reason, the amount of damage you could have done doesn't bare thinking about, not to mention the chaos you've created for traffic control."

"... Uhm... Just... A little... fun?" Quinn laughed nervously but answered honestly. "I didn't hurt anyone though... I think that's a bonus. Nothing was destroyed either. Double bonus. Bam, bam."

"That's not the point. The point is you broke the law and there is a fine to pay. it'll take hours to clear up the mess your little joyride made for traffic control, delaying people's flights and causing a large amount of grief for those who COULD follow procedure. " The minotaur straightened. "Come with me, there are forms to fill out."

Quinn pouted and slowly began sinking to the floor, "Now, now, do we really have to do all this?"

"Yes. You do." Vanessa suddenly called out, coldly staring at Quinn, unsympathetic, "Maybe a bit of consequence will teach you better manners. We'll speak of this later."

Quinn flicked an ear and looked away, coughing.

Asher found himself once again trying to not laugh. Poor, poor Quinn. But what had she expected, flying a shuttle like that? He wondered who was going to handle paying the fine this time.

"Come on, don't try to run. They have tasers." The minotaur indicated the security staff who all nodded and watched Quinn warily as their boss lead her off back to his office.

Quinn grumbled as she reluctantly followed the Chief officer, Vanessa following behind to pay for the fine, considering Quinn didn't have much in monetary value...

the minotaur noticed Asher and shot him a "you better not be involved" look as he stomped off to his office.
A pair of security staff followed, keeping close to quinn.

Once at the office there was, as he'd stated, forms to fill out and a substantial fine to pay. Quinn got a further warning.

"We have a one strike policy on this station. I suggest you get yourself up to date with the rules and regulations and don't get in trouble again. Next time, you'll be staying with us for a while." He indicated the dank looking cells. "No more joyriding shuttles, understand?"

Asher watched them go, looking a bit nervous at the minotaur's stare. He didn't want Chuck to decide he was bad news. "I would not want to be Quinn right now," he told Merith and Swarm. "The Chief of Security here is no joke, and I suspect the same is true of Vanessa."

--at least nobody got hurt-- Swarm told them. --but where's the borrower?--

"Vanessa is not a joke. Not at all." Merith said grimly. looking a little scared for the fox's sake.

Saraphine was still in the shuttle, leaning over in the cup holder while still trying to get her senses together.

"I understand." Quinn squeaked, not looking at Vanessa, who seemed to beg to differ on whether or not this was a suitable punishment.

"I take it you're admitting responsibility for this... creature?" The chief asked Vanessa. "If so, you can fill out the forms." He doubted the fox could write anyway.

Asher went to the shuttle, looking to the security guards to see if he was allowed to go in there yet. He wanted to see if Sara was all right, she looked rather green at the moment.

The security guard who was standing watch didn't much seem to care what Asher did. So long as he didn't decide to go for a joy ride as well. He watched the android warily but didn't say anything.

Asher went into the shuttle to talk to Sara. "You look like you got shaken around a bit too much," he said softly. "Want to get out of the shuttle, or do you need a few minutes?"

Now the excitement was over, Swarm went back to trying to find a salad bar.

"I can fill it out myself!" The fox said indignantly, taking the pen with her magic and pulled the forms closer to read them scrutiningly.

"I apologize for this." Vanessa bowed to the Officer slightly, looking as annoyed as he. "You can be certain this won't be happening from her again." She gave Quinn a warning glare as she spoke.

Saraphine nearly jumped out of her skin at Asher's voice before she relaxed. "Oh... You're the android-guy from the ship, right?..."

"Good. She seems an irritating long term guest." He told Vanessa, glancing sidelong at Quinn.
"Will you be paying her fine or can she do that herself too?" He smirked.

Asher smiled. "Yes, and a medic as well. I just wanted to see if you were all right."

"Irritating?!" Quinn looks up indignantly, "I'll tell you what's irritating you half-assed imposter of a cow--"

"Belladonna Nightshade!" Vanessa suddenly thundered, glaring down at her. "This man's lifestyle is of no importance to you! You're in enough hot water as it is! I suggest you keep quiet!" She calmed down again and turned to the officer. "Yes, I will pay the required fee for her. I am her charge as her teacher, and I shall take responsibility."

"Oh, two medics? I guess that works." Sara stood weakly but leaned on the side of the holder. "I think I'll be okay..."

He stared back at Quinn, the faintest look of surprise in his red eyes. "Most people aren't stupid enough to challenge a minotaur." He told her matter of factly.

He regained his composure, nodded and handed the forms over for paying the fee.

"Glad to hear someone's reasonable." He glowered at Quinn suspiciously. "I'm certain you can come up with a far more fitting punishment for her than I can though. "
